Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use ReCreate. The Service helps people meet in person, so we limit it to adults. By using ReCreate you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide about yourself is accurate.

ReCreate is a live activity map for real-world meetups. It lets you discover activities and events near you, host your own, RSVP, message other members, and coordinate plans. ReCreate is a platform that connects people — we do not organize, supervise, or take part in the activities posted by members.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Don’t share your account, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You’re responsible for the activity that happens under your account.

ReCreate connects you with other people and real-world events, but we can’t verify the identity, intentions, or conduct of any member, and we don’t vet the activities posted. You meet and interact with others at your own risk. Use good judgment: meet in public places, tell someone where you’re going, and stop any interaction that feels unsafe. You are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct, and ReCreate is not responsible for the actions of members or for anything that happens at a meetup.

You agree not to use ReCreate to:

• harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other people;
• post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes someone else’s rights;
• spam, scam, solicit, or use the Service for commercial purposes without our permission;
• misrepresent who you are, your age, or the nature of an activity;
• break the law, or interfere with or attempt to abuse the Service or its security.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that we believe put others at risk.

You keep ownership of the content you post (profile details, photos, activities, messages). By posting, you grant ReCreate a license to host, display, and share that content within the Service so it can function — for example, showing your activity on the map to nearby members. You’re responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

Your use of ReCreate is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

You can stop using ReCreate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons.

ReCreate is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it running well, but we don’t guarantee that it will always be available, accurate, or free of errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind regarding the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReCreate and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service, your interactions with other members, or your participation in any activity or meetup.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know in the app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use ReCreate after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
