Privacy Policy

• Account info — your email and the credentials used to sign in.
• Profile— your name, date of birth (to confirm you’re 18+), gender, photos, interests, and anything else you choose to add.
• Content — the activities and events you create, your RSVPs, messages, group and team memberships, and other things you post.

• Location — with your permission, we use your device location to show activities near you and to place activities you host on the map. You can control this in your device settings.
• Usage & device — basic information about how you use the app and the device you use it on, which helps us keep the Service running and fix problems.

• to keep the Service safe and to enforce our Terms;
• to send you notifications you’ve asked for;
• to understand and improve how ReCreate works.

ReCreate is social, so some of your information is visible to others by design — for example, your profile, the activities you host, and your RSVPs may be shown to nearby or relevant members. Be thoughtful about what you share, and use the controls in the app to manage your visibility.

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate ReCreate, and we share only what’s needed for them to do their job:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication hosting.
• Google Maps — the map and location features.
• Firebase — push notifications.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting so we can fix bugs.

We don’t sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.

• edit or remove most profile details directly in the app;
• turn location and notification permissions on or off;
• request that we delete your account and the personal information tied to it (see Contact below).

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we need to keep some of it to meet legal obligations or to resolve disputes.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No service can be perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to address issues quickly.

ReCreate is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we’ll remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as ReCreate grows. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know in the app or by other reasonable means.
